Two people died in a serious accident at the railway crossing in the Sliven quarter “Debelata koriya“, announced the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Sliven.
The accident was reported to 112 at 10:12 a.m. According to initial information, a collision occurred at the railway crossing between an animal-drawn vehicle and a passenger train on the Burgas - Sofia line.
The crossing is guarded, with sound and light signaling, but without barriers. Police and emergency medical teams were immediately sent to the scene. According to initial reports, two people have died.
The work to clarify the causes of the incident continues.
