Winds of up to 90 km/h were recorded by the Meteorology and Hydrology Station in Sliven. They told bTV that the gusts are currently calming down and measuring a speed of 70 km/h.

The wind direction is from the northwest, stronger in the mountainous areas.

The warnings to drivers are to be careful on the road. There are no reports of incidents at the moment.

An orange code has been declared for the districts of Vidin, Vratsa, Montana, Pleven, Sofia - region, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Blagoevgrad, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Sliven.

The code is yellow for almost all other districts, with only parts of Burgas and Smolyan districts not having a warning.
