There are cries for the cancellation of the Congress in the BSP and the reason is Rumen Radev's appearance on the parliamentary field. The reason is that this changes the electoral attitude. This was stated by the member of the BSP leadership Kaloyan Pargov in the program “Face to Face“ on bTV.
I am “for“ a congress, but of unification, not of division. In the BSP, congresses usually lead to division. The time until the elections is very short and there are fears that this congress may contribute to a further decline in votes, he specified.
At the moment, whoever is the chairman of the BSP, when Rumen Radev appears on the parliamentary field, has changed. The people around us, watching us quarrel, will not vote for us. Right now, we need to work for the BSP to enter the next National Assembly. In the BSP, we are talking about the future and about stopping the outflow of people to Radev's formation and getting our own. It is possible that after the elections we will partner with him, Pargov explained.
He admitted that many prominent figures will not be on the BSP lists.
Government was inevitable. I am not satisfied with the BSP's participation in power. I did not like that there were two leading figures in the government - Borisov and Peevski. It was raised as a topic in the management council. The BSP tried to comply with the ethics of governance, but it was not heard, Kaloyan Pargov revealed.
