President Iliana Yotova met with the MECH party. Before that, the APS responded to them, BNT specified.
At the beginning, Iliana Yotova thanked the party for responding to the consultations.
"For me, these nominations are by no means formal. The most important thing is the holding of transparent, fair elections. As was the will of hundreds of thousands of citizens. At the same time, our state cannot stop until then. I hope that the caretaker cabinet will solve the most urgent problems facing the country, said Iliana Yotova.
The president expressed hope that all institutions will show common sense so that there is stability in the country. He added that challenges are piling up every day.
"Price control is a complete failure and people are feeling it in their pockets".
Radostin Vassilev said that he would be extremely sincere.
"We are surrounded by hypocrisy - politically, in the state, by a total collapse of institutions, which leads to serious criminal values. And given my sincerity, I approach this meeting with you with great skepticism. I have great respect for the presidential institution, but I firmly believe that I must express my concerns related to you as president and what is happening.
Radostina Vassilev stated that she believes that after Rumen Radev resigned, Iliana Yotova should do the same. In his words, it seems in society that "he used the presidency to create a party, and you used the presidency for your future campaign".
"These facts lead to skepticism in me that you are capable, since you are not capable of leading a real, impartial campaign".
MECH stated that they would no longer participate in consultations because of their pointlessness and left the hall.
Iliyana Yotova responded to the critics that apparently MECH had come to "say their words from the election campaign".
"At no point do I deny my biography. It is visible, transparent to all Bulgarian citizens", the president replied.
