This government is of Andrey Gyurov and as an official prime minister he chose his ministers, and President Iliana Yotova, according to the Constitution, issues the relevant decree. All parties during the consultations, except for those in the "Borisov - Peevski" model, indicated Mr. Gyurov as the best option for prime minister. From now on, this is the choice and Mr. Gyurov made a very decent selection of proven professionals. This was commented on in the studio of "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov"; the co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" and MP from the PP-DB PG Ivaylo Mirchev.
In his words, it cannot be said that there is a party cabinet, because there are former ministers of Boyko Borisov in it, there are many people who are connected to GERB:
"There is a GERB minister from the last government. Quite resourceful from the point of view of the fact that in the army there are priorities that are national and all parties are of the same opinion. Keeping the current minister is a good move. So that there are professionals and now they must fulfill their task."
According to him, they are a political formation and bear responsibility for the country, because they are in parliament and exercise parliamentary control according to the changes in the Constitution of this government and it is most normal for everyone to bear responsibility for the country.
"This is the choice of the acting prime minister himself, he bears responsibility and so far he has been doing quite well in these tasks. There are no party quotas and I don't see any. However, I see two Turkish names inside - Korman Ismailov and Hasan Ademov. Everyone in the parliament knows that Ademov is one of the best experts in the field of social sciences and has always been considered quite respected in the National Assembly as an expert. This is an interesting move by the Prime Minister," Mirchev pointed out.
He believes that this is a gesture towards this community, because it has a place in Bulgarian politics and in government.
Regarding the appointment of Stoil Tsitelkov as Deputy Prime Minister for Fair Elections, Ivaylo Mirchev said that from a legal point of view there is no mistake:
"In moral terms, however, I think it was good that Mr. Tsitelkov submitted his resignation, as it should be clear that fair elections are a priority - they are obviously a priority for Ms. Yotova, for the acting Prime Minister, they are also a priority for us, and that is why we created the platform "You Count" so that citizens can also get involved in protecting the vote. From this point of view, the resignation is correct," explained Mirchev.
