The Minister of Finance Georgi Klisurski appointed Ivaylo Ashkov as director of the Agency for State Financial Inspection (ADFI). From January 2022 to the present, he was the deputy director of the agency.
Ivaylo Ashkov has a Master of Laws from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski“. His career development is entirely within the system of the Ministry of Finance. For twelve years (2010-2022) he successively held the positions of state inspector and head of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance. From October 31, 2003 to August 31, 2010, he was a public enforcer and inspector in the closed Agency for State Receivables and a state revenue inspector in the National Revenue Agency.
