Ivo Indzhev on the war in Iran: Why right now? - 1

I'm waiting for March 8th as some kind of denouement. The number 8 is magical in the Sumerian-Persian tradition, that is, for 2,600 years. Someone will say that this is a conspiracy theory. And in reality - it can't be that serious. The war between Iran and Iraq lasted exactly 8 years. It ended on 08.08.1988. The Council of Elders, which elects the Ayatollah, consists of 88 people, who each have an eight-year term. Therefore, given this numerological coincidence, I wonder if something won't happen on March 8th. On the verge of a joke - we will wait for March 8 to see if something will change. This was said in an interview with “Face to Face” by journalist Ivo Indzhev.

“Why right now? This could have been predicted and everyone predicted it when it became clear that the Iranian nuclear program had not been destroyed, despite Donald Trump's claims to the contrary. Now, he wants to destroy it again. Does he mean to say that they restored it in six months? As they say, there will be finishing work in construction, but it was clear. For Israel, this is a matter of survival. Iran would have used nuclear weapons by now if they could. They would not hesitate. This is what distinguishes this regime from all the others in the world that possess nuclear weapons. That is why the interest of the whole world is directed there. This is included as a goal in their Constitution. Extremely irrational, since this invisible country of Israel does nothing to prevent them from prospering and getting rich from oil. However, this is their number one manic task. As for Trump, the reasons are mostly domestic political. I personally think that in this way he is trying to distract attention from his personal problems in politics and from the fact that the US economy is not going as he had promised. And so - a quick war, although this completely contradicts his election promises not to fight”, he added.

Injev reassured that Iranian missiles cannot reach Bulgaria, because they did not manage to reach Cyprus. “Their missiles fell into the sea. We are further away”, the journalist pointed out.

“If they had the opportunity to do something, they would have sunk at least one American ship to rejoice and say that they had achieved victory. This time the rocket attacks on Israel are much more moderate. My theory is that they are saving their ballistic missiles for a special occasion or for a longer-term war. On the other hand, they are trying to involve the neighboring Arab countries, which is not very honest on their part, because they have given signals of a desire for better relations with Iran. Oman even expressed disagreement with the American action, and this was a very big exception. At the moment, the countries in the region are extremely angry, because if their authority as a safe haven for millions of tourists from all over the world and a place where all sorts of international meetings were held is undermined, this means destroying one of their main development priorities. They are trying to diversify the sources of income in their economy. No one knows if they would respond with weapons, but they do have them. And they are quite modern. More modern than Iran's. All the fires are caused by debris from falling drones or missiles. "No one wants to enter Iranian territory with infantry. One reason is geographical. Iran is surrounded by deserts. The terrain is extremely difficult. The Iranian regime, however, wants this. It knows very well that it cannot achieve any parity, let alone air superiority, against the powerful Israeli air force. Combined with the American, this task becomes completely unfeasible. If boots are put on the shore, however, they can resist, especially in urban and mountainous conditions, to cause casualties and political discomfort at home to the US and Israel," he further commented.
