We are “for“ a debate in parliament over the conflict in the Middle East. The problem is that the executive branch does not come to the plenary hall. Never and for any reason has anyone discussed Bulgaria's participation in military actions, so our citizens can be calm. This was stated by the leader of the UDF and deputy chairman of the GERB-UDF parliamentary group Rumen Hristov in the program “Since the Day“ on BNT.
“My opinion is that if the negotiations with Iran had continued, an agreement could have been reached. Iran was getting closer step by step to developing a nuclear bomb. The democratic world does not need a new nuclear power. In my opinion, the transition in the country will be difficult. There is a vibrant civil society in Iran, so we will see how the situation develops“.
We will work very mobilized and actively for these elections. Our goal is to improve our result, because GERB-SDF did a lot of things, except for the negative ones. We did not work alone, but we made the greatest contribution, he emphasized.
Rumen Hristov also commented on the political project of President Rumen Radev: “In politics, two months is a long time. It is an honor for President Radev to have stepped onto the muddy political terrain. It is not easy to find so many people who do not provoke debates“.
Hristov revealed that he was told that the second person in Rumen Radev's formation will be a figure who will be the tar in the honey pot.
„There are topics on which we can work together with President Radev's coalition and I will list some of them: the orientation of Bulgaria, deepening the integration processes in the EU, working for a rich state that is social. We have attacked him - yes, but we must look for common ground on different topics, he said.
Hristov warned that it will not be easy to reach a full majority.
Rumen Hristov emphasized that the oligarchy is not blue and pointed out that the battle will not be easy. In his words, the oligarchy is red.
