The ski facilities will operate until Sunday, April 12, after which they will be closed for the season, the Mountain Rescue Service announced.
Thanks to good weather conditions and stable snow cover, winter sports enthusiasts this year had the opportunity to enjoy snowy adventures in April as well.
The ski areas in Borovets and Pamporovo will remain open until April 12 (Sunday) inclusive. The winter season in the ski area above Bansko will continue until April 13. The extension of the season has given Bulgarian and foreign tourists an excellent opportunity for more emotions on the slopes.
The Borovets ski area points out that spring skiing offers excellent conditions - well-groomed slopes, longer days and a combination of snow and sun. The atmosphere is calmer, with fewer people and no queues at the lifts, and the conditions are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers and snowboarders.
