Huge columns of trucks are clogging the "Maritsa" highway before the "Kapitan Andreevo" border checkpoint.
This morning, the last waiting trucks are between Lyubimets and Svilengrad. The dense column is almost 20 kilometers long. Most trucks are in the emergency lane, but there are sections where they are in two columns and the movement of the remaining vehicles is very difficult and dangerous.
The report of the "Customs" Agency shows that in recent days, about 2,500 trucks pass through "Kapitan Andreevo" every day, most of them on their way to Turkey. The traffic is extremely intense and is working in full synchrony at full capacity, the Agency commented.
