As a respect for the vote of Plovdiv residents, who placed PP-DB above GERB and voted me personally with over 5,000 preferences, I chose to become an MP from Plovdiv.
This was published on his Facebook page by the leader of "We Continue the Change" Assen Vassilev. He also wrote the following:
I spoke with the leaders of „Democratic Bulgaria“ – Atanas Atanasov and Bozhidar Bozanov. „Yes, Bulgaria“ and DSB have not reached a common position on which of their candidates should enter parliament.
I regret this, because this decision should have been up to our partners from “Democratic Bulgaria“. It is not my job as the leader of “Continuing the Change“ to choose between their candidates.
In the last few days, we have witnessed ugly statements and attacks on this case. In “Continuing the Change“ we have always believed that the correct and dignified behavior is that demonstrated by Associate Professor Vasil Pandov.
