A subsidence of one road lane has been detected on the Smolyan - Pamporovo road in the area of the Raykovski Livadi area, the person on duty at the Regional Road Administration (RDA) - Smolyan told BTA. The section is about 10 meters long, is signaled and secured with a signal tape.
The roads in the Smolyan region are wet, and in the higher parts of the mountain the conditions are wintry. There are snowy and icy sections on the Prevala pass and in Pamporovo.
This morning, a signal was sent for fallen rocks in the Devin - Krichim direction. The road maintenance company has organized the clearing of the route.
The Smolyan Highway Traffic Safety Administration urges drivers to drive with increased caution, to adjust their speed to road conditions, and to be prepared for rapid changes in the situation in the mountainous areas.
