The series of storms on the political terrain and their result is commented by the political scientist Parvan Simeonov in “Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov” on NOVA NEWS.
The situation could lead to a crisis of democracy, he believes.
Simeonov is of the opinion that the idea of the constitutional changes was to make caretaker governments less political, but at this stage this is not the case.
He expressed the following hypothesis: PP-DB may lose even the second position in the upcoming elections.
According to him, however, a government without PP-DB would not be legitimate, since after 4 years there were efforts to make the old model of government a thing of the past, and now it is returning, it would be a problem.
Simeonov believes that it is possible to go for a repeat vote after the elections on June 9.
