CEC deleted the registration of the "Attaka" party for elections 2 in 1  - 1

CEC deleted the registration of the "Attaka" party. for participation in the upcoming June elections for the European Parliament and early parliamentary elections. This is clear from a message published on the Commission's website.

„From protocol with entry No. CEC-EPNS-20-190 of 25.04.2024 of DG “GRAO” in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications for the verification of a list of voters supporting the registration of the party “Attack” in the CEC for participation in the elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and for people's representatives on June 9, 2024, 2,397 correct entries were found, Blitz reported.

Therefore, the list submitted for verification contains less than 2,500 voters who support the registration of the party “Attack”.

These data do not meet the requirements of Art. 133, para. 3, item 5, proposal latest from the Electoral Code and Decision No. 3048-EP/NS of 09.04.2024 of the CEC on registration of the party “Attack“ for participation in the elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and for people's representatives on June 9, 2024, and the registration of the party, subject to an unfinished procedure, should be deleted, the CEC states.

The decision is subject to appeal before the Supreme Administrative Court through the Central Election Commission within three days of its announcement.

RE: deleting the registration of the party “Attack“ for participation in the elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and for people's representatives on June 9, 2024.

The Central Election Commission with Decision No. 3163-EP/NC of April 24, 2024 has registered the party “Attack” for participation in the elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and for people's representatives on June 9, 2024, in the conditions of an uncompleted procedure under Art. 135, para. 4 of the Electoral Code and Section IV, Item 18 of Decision No. 3048-EP/NC of 04/09/2024 of the CEC.

In view of the above and on the basis of Art. 57, para. 1, item 1 and art. 135, para. 5 of the Election Code of the Central Election Commission

R E SH I:

DELETES REGISTRATION of party “Attack“ for participation in the elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and for people's representatives on June 9, 2024, carried out by Decision No. 3163-EP/NS of April 24, 2024 of the CEC.

Revokes the issued certificate.

The decision is subject to appeal before the Supreme Administrative Court through the Central Election Commission within three days of its announcement.
