The scene of the accident was inspected by a military investigator in the presence of a military prosecutor and with the participation of auto experts. By decree of the prosecutor overseeing the pre-trial proceedings, a forensic medical examination was appointed to establish the immediate cause of death of the driver of the "Audi" passenger car, as well as an examination to establish the disabilities of the woman injured in the accident.

A letter was sent to the Specialized Unit “Regional Road Administration-Varna“ at the “Road Infrastructure” Agency (API) to the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRRD) with a view to establishing the movement of the two cars involved in a traffic accident, for the time from 00:00 on 16.05.2024 until the moment of the collision. Other information related to the road conditions and the signals sent to tel. 112 are also required.
Further interrogations are pending with a view to the full and comprehensive clarification of the circumstances, including the appointment of a complex auto technical expertise to establish the speed of the cars and the mechanism of causing the accident.
