The former head of the NSO, Gen. Stanchev: Kiril Petkov, as a former prime minister, has the right to security and a car - 1

In a short period of time, the auto technical expertise will be ready, which will establish at what speed the NSO car was moving, in who was traveling the co-chairman of the PP Kiril Petkov. The driver of the other car was killed in the accident near Aksakovo. Initial reports indicate that he had gone off the road without the right of way when he was struck by the NSO car.

In the show "Offensive" according to NOVA NEWS, the former director of the NSO, Gen. Krasimir Stanchev made an analysis of the accident, but also of the actions of the security of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico during the attempt against him.

"I hope that the way in which the NSO car was moving did not create a precondition for an accident. If indeed the driver in question has sprung up suddenly, the moment of inertia from the stop undoubtedly has him. Serious damage is possible. If he had the opportunity to stop but didn't, too bad for our colleague. Former prime ministers have the right to use NSO security for up to 4 years after the termination of the mandate.

Kiril Petkov is still entitled to it. There are no restrictions on who can ride with the protected person. Without it, however, outsiders cannot travel with such security. Even when the person being transported was late, we never exceeded the speed limit. By running the lights, it's easier to give us the right of way to pass. We usually move in a column of 2-3 cars, so they notice us on the road and understand that we have a special regime.

This was pointed out by the former head of the NSO.

"The reaction of the NSO in Slovakia was not at the required level. A commotion ensued, which was evidently played out before the eyes of the people. The prime minister's bodyguards made a lot of mistakes at first glance. We have a unit that prevents possible threats. If the Slovaks also have one, they should be ready for such an attack. There could have been an x-ray in the fenced perimeter to check people. It was a mistake for Fizzo to walk alone in front, he should have had a face to cover him. Someone had to cover the firing sector and be the victim if he couldn't get to the weapon. NSO employees must always be prepared that they may become victims of an attempt".

According to him, the assassination attempt against Ronald Reagan is an example of how a security guard stood in the way of danger and prevented a fatal development. "In the case of Fitzo, while he was being carried, his back was exposed. If the shooter was not neutralized, he could have continued to fire. If I were the head of security, I would wait for the inspection, but surely these people would no longer be on the team.
