GERB leader Boyko Borisov participated in a pre-election meeting with supporters of the party in Razgrad, novini.bg reported.
Together with him was the leader of the GERB-SDS list in Razgrad, Delyan Dobrev. At the beginning, he introduced the members of the list in the district by name.
"We need a convincing victory in the European elections as well. We achieved the best results when there were Borisov's governments, because there was communication. GERB has absolute support in the EPP, and the EPP is the largest party in the EU. We are obliged to reaffirm this trust that they voted for us", said Asim Ademov and called for unification.
„Balkan Stream is 100% your property. It belongs to the Bulgarians and earns nearly a billion a year. The life of the gas pipeline is 72 years. This is what Boyko did for the Bulgarians. The godfather of “Balkan Stream” is Tomislav Donchev. This gas pipeline was standing in a frame in Jean-Claude Juncker's office”, said Boyko Borisov.
„If GERB is managed by Borisov, we will not form a coalition. Which one will you wear? The question is, do we want a powerful Bulgaria?”, he pointed out.
"We have wonderful contacts with Lupin and Meloni. But the EPP will find itself at some point in the situation of GERB. I can bet that President Erdoğan does not have a case where his bodyguards trusted me so much that I was driving the jeep and he was sitting next to me. Behind me Jean-Claude Juncker, in the middle Antonio Tajani, next to him Donald Tusk. Dozens of their bodyguards run around the forest, but there is no catch. The Prime Minister of Great Britain came, the Prime Minister of Japan had not come, let alone the White House. This is what we did because we had a country, we had offices. At 3 o'clock we took off, landed in Burgas, flew over the entire border. He was taking pictures... I'm shouting at him how Europe has changed. If he had been photographing the border 30 years ago, he would have been hounded. He showed how I guard the border. I have brought 300 million euros to Bulgaria for border protection," Borisov revealed.
„Irresponsibility has no end. They saw their failure. From what they heard and saw, they understood that they should become a sharp opposition and then the West should bring us together. PP did not want with us. Okay, we haven't run. We have people, and with them, when Minchev and Laurer leave, who will stay? Who will they offer - no one. And their thinking mechanism is that of a street brigade. They want to suck the information from DANS, the Ministry of the Interior, that's why they said the Ministry of the Interior or nothing else," the GERB leader pointed out.
"Imagine if we had accepted their ultimatums... They were thinking of succeeding us and ending us illegally. The US State Department wrote that our arrests were illegal. There were many uninvited at the NATO assembly. I had a meeting with the American, with the German congressmen, with everyone, but I didn't see anyone else. Our Western partners saw what happened," Borisov said.
"I have been prime minister many times. I've been to everything three times. I think this is enough for one biography. With this "Borisov - Prime Minister" i think you are scaring them. But that should only be if we have a very large majority. We are now a real party, after these 3 years of bullying, gossiping and what not, it must either be managed stably or I will do nothing. If we don't have a majority to govern stably, I won't take responsibility. Get a million votes and then we can say: “We are ready to rule”. Who will be prime minister – we will figure it out," the GERB leader also stated.
