Burudzhieva: It will be a serious surprise if the results of the elections make it possible to quickly form a cabinet - 1

Surprises are expected in the 2 in 1 elections in our country on June 9 and one of them will be if the turnout approaches 50%, commented the political scientist Assoc. Tatiana Burudzhieva in an interview with BNR.

She believes that political, party and electoral logic say that there should not be elections in the fall either. "But this does not mean that in practice there cannot be, but then we will witness an upheaval," Burudzhieva warned in the program "Something more".

"The surprise can come from citizen activism. I firmly see about 45% and more who think. If both wavers leave and the turnout reaches 50%, it will be a very big surprise, and it will affect the whole distribution. A big surprise will be both the remaining of few parties in the parliament and the entry of many parties, because such are the attitudes that it cannot be predicted. Third, it will be a serious surprise if the results make it possible to form a government quickly. But there are also expectations that there will be elections again", commented the political scientist.

According to Prof. Burudzhieva, the media and social networks give politicians enough scope to express themselves. And this is a positive side of the campaign, because it gives people the opportunity to see, orient themselves and understand that they have a choice.

"Campaigns are sluggish, there are some that are literally from the last century. I would say that there is only one way that has not changed for centuries and that is the direct meeting with people. But politicians behave like they are at a scientific conference, we replace politics with a voice on a megaphone or with some quick passing through public places, just to take a picture and show on the networks that we were here and there. But all this does not bring added value", commented Burudzhieva.

According to her, "the negative part and violation of the law speaks of neglect and neglect on the part of politicians to prepare well for the campaigns".

"And let the citizens not make us fools, that everything can go their way. It is clear from the data that people orient themselves much better with personalities than with their theses. And this personification in political communication is a double-edged sword," warned Prof. Tatyana Burudzhieva.

And explained that there are many decisive things that depend on our choice:

"Firstly - whether we will vote and secondly what we will choose. From how we will vote, it must be adequate to what we require from politicians in terms of work and attitude. Our vote is decisive, because it depends on how the political forces in the National Assembly will line up and what kind of government we will have or whether we will go to elections again", she recommended.

According to her, the data indicate that the results of the two elections will differ, not by much, because Bulgarians make a difference between Eurolists and national ones, even of the same party.

Tatiana Burudzhieva predicts that there is a danger that Bulgaria will enter the Italian version – 8 – 9 parties in parliament with 4 each – 5% and change.

"I hope we don't get there".
