Ivet, who killed the actress Violeta Doneva, was put under house arrest

The court put under house arrest the defendant for the murder of the actress Violeta Doneva - Ivet Staykova. He will be with an electronic bracelet at the address of his maternal grandparents, reported "Focus".

At the beginning of the hearing, Yvette told the court that she loved her grandmother immensely and was terribly sorry.

Before making its final decision, the jury asked the defense for an up-to-date phone number of the grandparent, then retired for deliberation.

During it, judge Milen Mihailov assured that he had heard from the grandmother, who confirmed that she wanted Ivet to be released from house arrest and live with them. Yvette herself agreed to be voluntarily subjected to regular drug tests by police officers at address checks.

In the end, the court panel decided - changing the current most severe measure of remand "detention in custody" with a lighter one - house arrest with an electronic bracelet.

The decision is subject to appeal.
