A tree broke and a large branch from it fell on a car parked in front of a block on the busy boulevard “Ilinden” in Haskovo. The incident happened after 4:30 p.m. during the severe storm that swept over the city with thunder, rain, strong wind and hail.

He specified that the ODPBZN received many reports this afternoon about fallen branches and trees, as well as about flooded objects, the drainage of which is being worked on.
According to data from the hydrometeorological observatory in Haskovo, the amount of rain that fell after 16:30 was 34 liters per square meter. It was very intense within about 30 minutes. The wind was gusting up to 90 km/h, and the hail was 12 mm in size - the size of a hazelnut.
