Deputies expelled from the DPS group and who subsequently left the parliamentary group, spoke out against the incitement of ethnic tension by Peevski's supporters and attempts to sow discord among party members.
„Among us are representatives of all ethnicities in Bulgaria and we categorically state that all attempts to sow ethnic tension will not succeed!“, added the People's Representative.
Valentin Tonchev was categorical: “After realizing that there is no way to take over the party in this way and everyone is unanimously behind Dr. Ahmed Dogan, they are now looking for other attempts at manipulation and disinformation to undermine the foundations of the party . We will emerge stronger from this situation.“
The people's representatives also added that the DPS has signed all international treaties and conventions for the protection of minority rights and human rights. And they were adamant that they would continue on this path and would not give up.
