Instead of doing his job, Mayor Vasil Terziev is kicking a ball in his office with some influencer. This is what he said in the show “Face to Face“ the municipal councilor from VMRO Carlos Contrera on the occasion of the latest scandal in the Metropolitan Municipal Council regarding the change of directors in several companies.
„If I, as a municipal councilor for the third term, do not know what the problems of Sofia are, then my place is not in the Sofia Municipal Council. I have been known to write my own reports. I have consulted the names mentioned in the second part of the report with Mr. Galabov and Mrs. Petrova – that is why we are co-sponsors of the proposal to change the directors of six municipal companies”, he explained.
Carlos Contrera rhetorically asked if the capital has a mayor and explained that it is not serious for Vasil Terziev to justify his inability to manage Sofia with the only municipal councilor from VMRO.
He even accused the capital's mayor of “suggestions and outright lies”.
„In “Metropolitan electric transport“ remain Mr. Ganchev, the current executive director, and Mr. Georgiev, who is the chairman of the Board of Directors. It's obvious that the new rulers don't know them”, he also said, giving the example of several other companies.
According to him, the level of SOS decreased even more after municipal councilors from the PP-DB-SS or someone from the mayor's administration posted the biographies of the candidates for roles in the municipal companies on the open air.
„During the debates in the hall, it was seen that this is an absolute kindergarten – attacks and insults. People with serious biographies were called “ladybugs”. How can municipal councilors and the mayor have such an attitude?!“, Contrera is outraged.
