I do not plan to leave DPS. A new political project has not been discussed with me.
This was stated before the BNR by the deputy of the PG of the DPS Hamid Hamid and added:
"I have worked for the DPS, I will work for the DPS, I will work for the unity of the DPS. ... I read in the media about a possible new project, but I haven't heard anything either from the chairman Delyan Peevski or from my colleagues.
According to him, if the community behind DPS splits and there are two parties, "it would not help these people to live better and it would not contribute to improving the political environment".
Hamid Hamid expressed doubt that "the last e-mail sent by someone to TV stations" was written by the honorary chairman of DPS Ahmed Dogan:
"We know his style very well. These are definitely not his words and he is not the author of these lines. I have no idea who the author is. ... Dr. Dogan speaks in much more substantial words, rather than in the Mahlen language of Ramadan Atalay. My guess is this".
According to the deputy, someone has created an artificial problem and in recent days there has been a huge pressure on the structures of the DPS, "with which the ethnic card is already being placed":
"People's souls are being messed with, they are fighting with brute force and Turks are pitted against Bulgarians, which is so dangerous. The persons that Yordan Tsonev mentioned earlier today called activists, asked questions about whether we will give our party to the Bulgarians and the Pomaks, as well as whether you are with us or with the Bulgarians and the Pomaks. Topics that are so dangerous. I am surprised how the creator of the Bulgarian ethnic model, the person who fought the most to prevent this from happening, does not take action to stop these calls. Like the writings in the Facebook group in his support, there are openly discriminatory calls. Some rub, we have screenshots".
Hamid said there was no information on whether anyone had contacted the "relevant authorities" because of the pressure on people from the DPS.
"There is a problem and everything is only because of the survival of Ramadan Atalay and people like him, because the structures asked for their resignations," he said.
According to him, someone did not like the fact that DPS became the second political force with 47 deputies, but he did not specify who he meant.
There is no way that Delyan Peevski is behind the appointments of regional governors, Hamid said and clarified that these are the appointments that are behind the acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and the Council of Ministers.
