The Mayor of Sofia, Vasil Terziev, announced that he will return the decision of the Sofia Municipal Council to replace the managing boards of six municipal companies.

On Facebook, Terziev wrote that the decision is not only unprincipled, but also illegal, and he will return it with reasons, since there is no hypothesis for temporary appointment in case of expired board mandates, and according to him, the only legal order is a competition.
After a nine-hour meeting on Thursday, the Metropolitan Municipal Council changed the management of six main municipal companies, including the Center for Urban Mobility, Metropolitan and Toplofikatsia-Sofia.
