Today the hunting season for shooting quails, cormorants, grouse and wood snipe. At least 50 thousand hunters are expected to go out to their hunting areas, despite the hot weather, BNR reported.
And in the last year there was a hunter who died in a hunting accident. That is why it is important to follow the rules, advises the chairman of the Union of Hunters and Anglers Vasil Vasilev.
"We have to be very careful in the field and forest areas because there is a high risk of fires. I also pay attention to the strict observance of discipline when handling hunting weapons, and of course, let's not forget all the rules that the hunting law requires us to follow during hunting trips," he pointed out.
On Wednesday, the government adopted a change in the Regulations for implementing the law on hunting, which affects the norm for shooting, Vassilev recalls.
"The shooting norm has already been reduced from 8 to 3, and when it comes to cormorants, up to three cormorants per hunter should be shot,'' he added.
"Filled with positive emotions and a successful hunting season for all Bulgarian hunters,", wished Vasil Vassilev.
