The water regime is introduced because of the permanent drought and the significantly reduced flow rate of the water supply group "Black Eight", which provides drinking water to Lovech and part of Pleven.
The VK hunting company announced that the water will be shut off from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and the regime does not apply only to the districts of “Goznitsa” and “Prodimchets“, which are fed by another water source.
Water regime at night is also introduced in parts of the villages of Radyuvene and Brestovo.
By order of the mayor of Lovech, Stracimir Petkov, the use of drinking water for watering, washing streets, cars, terraces and filling pools is prohibited.
