The political price for the current crisis must be paid by the one with whom the people are not satisfied. I have remarks about the Bulgarian people, because they support the one who lies to them. We cannot bury our heads in the sand that the people have been experimenting in recent years and we have gone to elections 7 times.
This is what MP and political scientist Kaloyan Metodiev said in an interview with BNR.
"My criticism is towards the people, because the responsibility can pass only if the people look for it and punish the one who brought them to this state," he added.
"The power is in the people, 70% did not come out to vote, but no one will come from outside and fix them. Nobody cares about it inside our country, as long as we don't cause problems in the unions we are in," the political scientist believes.
For him, Kalin Stoyanov has become an indirect victim of a group in Bulgarian politics that is reforming. "It is about PP-DB, Boyko Borisov, Peevski and Rumen Radev. We are witnessing the internal changes in Bulgarian politics", says Metodiev.
And he thinks that the way out is to stop the regrouping in the political elite.
Regarding President Rumen Radev's refusal to accept Gorica Grancharova's cabinet project, Kozhareva commented that we have an exception.
"We are an exception among 200 countries in the world, one lawlessness leads to another. Therefore, we are currently commenting on whether it is possible to change a minister, to make parties from the president, is there such a case in European practice. There must be a right to get out of such a situation, but we are witnessing sabotage through the rules of the Constitution," Kaloyan Metodiev pointed out.
He is convinced that the current political crisis is due to regrouping in a group that is at war within.
And about Rumen Radev, he commented that he can say that he does not like the next nominee for prime minister either:
"He is trying to circumvent the Constitution and make his own rules. For him, what is written in the Constitution does not matter. You see what hypocrisy and lies it is all about."
Metodiev stated that the biggest corruption deal was the contract concluded by the Galab Donev cabinet with Turkey's Botash and it is being investigated by the European prosecutor's office. He added that Radev had interests in energy and agriculture.
