Seasonal workers employed by third countries escaped from their employers. This was reported by the affected hoteliers themselves. We are talking about employees from Nepal and Sri Lanka who disappeared without a trace after the first week of their stay in Sunny Beach.
At the moment, the data from the police is that the missing are four foreigners registered in our country, "Nova TV" pointed out. Three of them work for hotelier Plamen Kopchev.
"They worked for two weeks and on the day they disappeared, their colleagues reported them missing. The documents are in them, they did not leave any personal belongings. They have not shared with anyone their intention to flee. With their documents, these people have freedom of movement, but the work visa is issued for a specific company. The migration authorities have been informed that our employees are being sought," he pointed out.
He revealed that there was a similar case last year. "At the border with Serbia, an employee was captured and returned, who subsequently worked until the end of his visa," explained Kopchev.
