One person is died and another was injured after an international high-speed train hit a car that illegally crossed a regularly activated crossing signal, the press center of the “Bulgarian State Railways” informed BTA. (BJD).
International fast train #464 (Dimitrovgrad 06:05 - Gorna Oryahovitsa 10:36) is stopped at Plachkovtsi station due to an accident after illegally crossing the railway line. The train will continue its movement after the completion of the investigative actions and the clearing of the railway, stated the BDZ on its website.
The driver of the car died as a result of the collision. The other passenger was taken to hospital. Two people were in the vehicle, the BDZ press center explained.
