The "Volt" party created by the former deputy Nastimir Ananiev will no longer be part of the PP-DB coalition.
"About a week ago, we found out that negotiations were underway between the other 3 formations in the PP-DB coalition, but that "Volt" she is not invited to them. We sent a letter to all the leaders of the meeting formations. We conducted one and found out about this decision", Nastimir Ananiev explained to BNR. According to him, the question why such a decision was made should be answered by all involved parties.
"We realized that some of the things important to us were clearly not accepted by the other coalition partners. We proposed three main things that we wanted embedded in the coalition agreement. The first is related to policies. From "Volt" we believe that more young people should be invested and the next leaders in Bulgaria between 20 and 30 years old should be sought. We proposed that there should be at least three such people among the leaders of the coalition lists. The third thing we proposed is related to a regulation specifying which parties we would not work with in the next National Assembly. This conversation is very important, and when it is held in a coalition, it should be included in the coalition agreement, in order to know what idea the coalition wants to enter the next NA, with what priorities, and with whom it would or would not work. We wanted it to be explicitly written in the coalition agreement that there will be no new assembly, that we will not work with "Revival", he commented.
We need to offer new faces, new leaders who can attract new voters, which is one of the most important goals after the record low voter turnout in the last elections, Ananiev was categorical in the show "12+3".< /p>
"When we divide and close a coalition to a much narrower circle, this cannot lead to new voters. The union should be as broad as possible. It cannot be closed, be elitist", he thinks. And added:
"I don't want the coalition to be limited to one urban right-wing party. Bulgaria is not only Sofia and the big cities".
Tomorrow "Volt" will decide whether to participate in the elections. However, Ananiev suggests that they try to register for participation, as well as to open the lists, the driver places, for young people between 20 and 30 years old.
