Asen Vasilev answered for "Customs": Comrades from Simeonovo and Mr. Gadjev should try a little harder next time - 1

They were not computers, and compotes. Comrades from Simeonovo (and Mr. Gadjev) should try a little harder next time.

This is what he wrote on "Facebook" the co-chairman of "Continuing the Change" Asen Vassilev. This is how he commented on the post of Hristo Gadjev from GERB about the testimony of the former head of customs, Petya Bankova, in which he emphasized the transaction for the purchase of scanners for customs.

Here is Vasilev's entire post:

Comrades from Simeonovo (and Mr. Gadjev) should try a little harder next time.

It is not surprising that two days after we cut off Peevski and GERB, the fabricated cop attacks started again. Specifically for the case study "scanners in the "Customs" Agency:

On August 22, 2023, the "Customs" Agency launches an open competitive procedure under the PPA for public procurement. Several different equipment suppliers can (and do) apply.

Several of the participants appealed the procedure and the Supreme Administrative Court terminated it on January 16, 2024. "Customs" Agency. informs the participants that the procedure is terminated.

There are no other actions on the case in question during the Denkov office.

In June 2024, the official cabinet (with a new finance minister and a new director of the "Customs" Agency) decided that it would launch a new classified order, not an open procedure under the PPA.

As a result of the classified procedure, the official cabinet signs a contract for the supply of equipment in June 2024.

Or in short, during my time as Minister of Finance, the Agency "Customs" has launched an open procedure under the ZOP. The closed procedure and the unclear choice were made two months after I was not a minister, by the management of the "Customs" Agency, appointed by the official cabinet.

They weren't computers, they were compotes. Comrades from Simeonovo (and Mr. Gadjev) should try a little harder next time.

Here is link to an article from July 29 of this year, which describes the case in detail. Funny how 3 months ago this wasn't news.
