So far, five parties have given a request that they will have their own candidate. GERB-SDS with two conjugated names - Rosen Zhelyazkov and Raya Nazaryan. PP-DB, “Vazrazhdane”, BSP and ITN as well, but they all officially keep their candidates a secret.
According to the former deputy from the BSP, we have a number of serious problems to solve, such as health care, education, the way elections are held in our country, and not the productions of the National Theater.
Regarding the elections, Kutev said that from a legal point of view, the 51st parliament is legitimate because it was still “elected somehow”.
But the problem remains the low turnout and the fact that half of the parties represented in the parliament insist on cashing the elections.
„For me, it cannot be said that our political elite is criminal, but a large part of it is criminal, especially at its top, Anton Kutev also said.
The former MP from the BSP criticized the changes in the Constitution, explaining that before them the basic law had a very clear mechanism of action – the president, being a neutral figure, should be the one to form an official cabinet in which party figures will not be involved.
He also said that BSP should not be in the government, but should be in opposition.
„If the BSP wants to be on the political stage, it should not enter the government, and the voters did not give the BSP the right to enter the government. "She is not first, not second, not third, but fifth," Kutev said.
