A 20-year-old man died on the Velchevo road – Debnevo, said the spokesperson of the regional directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Lovech, Gabriela Todorova.
The incident happened shortly after 1:30 p.m., BTA reports.
An oncoming car and a bus carrying passengers collided. The driver of the car died on the spot. There were no injuries from the bus.
Traffic in the section is temporarily limited to one lane and is regulated by traffic police officers.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated.
