Georgi Georgiev-Gotti, who was the mandate holder of Vasil Bozhkov's party "Bulgarian Summer", was detained last night in Sofia. The officers from the Special Police Forces of the SDVR noticed him meandering along "Botevgradsko Shose" Blvd.
After he was stopped, he sped away. Flashed the front left door of the patrol car, fortunately no one was injured. Gotti refused both field tests for alcohol and drugs, as well as to give a blood sample.
He is detained in the 5th RU. Gotti is criminally convicted of fraud, breaking into homes, as well as drug possession, reports "24 Hours".
Gotti is the leader of the party "Bulgarian National Unity".
The folk artist Georgi Georgiev, known by his nickname Goti, was a candidate for mayor of Sofia in the local elections in 2019, when he made a splash with his campaign motto – “Let's make a pumpkin for the people out of the pumpkin“. In the election, he received 471 votes, which was equal to 0.11% of the vote. In the ballot, he got the 18th number.
