Deputies again did not elect a chairman. Thus, the first session of the parliament continues for the third week already. Officially, talks about regular power never started.
The debate for the Speaker was once again displaced by personal attacks.
A first vote followed, which repeated the previous five. And again, the two candidates Raya Nazaryan of GERB-SDS and Silvi Kirilov of "There is such a people" remained in the runoff. (ITN). And after the given break for reflection of one hour and a new vote, again the chairman was not elected.
Already 16 days since the deputies were sworn in, they cannot begin work in substance. It turns out that they do not receive salaries for this period either.
"I think yesterday was a date for salaries", reminded Manol Peykov from PP-DB.
"There is no way to get them, since there are no rules", pointed out Alexander Rashev from ITN.
How long they will continue not receiving salaries and not working depends on the deputies themselves.
