A 29-year-old woman from Sandanski gave birth to a dead baby in the ambulance on the way to the hospital in Petrich. This was reported by relatives of the victim V. Gogova.
"She gave birth to her baby literally in the leg of her leggings," says the young woman's mother through tears, shocked by the attitude of a doctor in the Emergency Center in Sandanski, who, hours before the child's birth, refused to send her to the maternity ward, prescribed Spasmalgon for the pain, and sent the woman in labor home, reports Struma.com.
"He called me with the words ``Mom, I'm dying!'', says the mother and adds: "I went to their house and when I saw her - she was as pale as a canvas and cold.
Hours earlier, she went to the emergency center in Sandanski and the doctor sent her home to drink Spazmalgon. We immediately took her back to the emergency room, and from there, when they saw her, they put her in an ambulance to the hospital in Petrich.
On the way she gave birth. The baby fell into the leg of her leggings...literally, and there was a doctor, why didn't he help her? The baby died, three kilos, normal wear, nice baby.
We took our daughter to the Petrich hospital, where she is on systems and her condition is serious, not only because of the birth, but also because of the dead baby," says the mother.
"Say now, what does this doctor deserve who sent her home to take pills, on the condition that she then had signs of incipient labor?
We are all shocked by this attitude and we will seek our rights!", the woman says, very worried about how what happened will affect her daughter.
"In the 21st century, mothers should give birth in their pants, we should not be some kind of aborigines,", she said in tears.
The case is a precedent - people from the region are categorical.
