The Constitutional Court opened a case on the question of the GERB party whether the SJC with an expired mandate can elect the big three in the judicial system , reports BNT.
Desislava Atanasova was appointed as the rapporteur.
GERB is also seeking an answer to the question of whether, in the conditions of expired mandate of the elected members of the SJC, the National Assembly can limit the constitutional powers of the Council by law or by another act.
We remind you that Desislava Atanasova, a long-time GERB deputy, was elected a constitutional judge earlier this year, together with Borislav Belazelkov from the quota of the National Assembly.
