The clearing of the Dragalevtsi - Aleko hut road, where 6 heavy trees have fallen, continues. Yesterday, the two main roads to Vitosha were impassable and the Vitosha season started incompletely. Many enthusiasts were left on the road to the higher parts of the mountain and were unable to reach the ski slope for hours, reports BNT.
The capital's inspectorate continues to clear the road with snowplows and today public transport from Boyana to "Golden Bridges" is expected to run normally and on schedule.
Over 130 snowplows in the capital are ready to join in clearing the snow. According to the Sofia Inspectorate, the biggest problem for the roads to Vitosha, besides the continuous snowfall, are the so-called drifters, because this is how the road becomes icy. The advice to all drivers is to set off to Vitosha with a full tank of fuel, winter tires and chains.
