Activities to restore power supply in Western Bulgaria continue. ERM West has redirected an additional 30 emergency teams to the areas most severely affected by the snowfall – around Troyan, Teteven, Lovech, Apriltsi, Samokov, as well as in the village of Plana and the Yarema villa area.
Work is being carried out in extremely severe winter conditions in rugged terrain, high snowdrifts and at low temperatures. The delay in restoring power supply is also due to accidents on the high-voltage network owned by ESO, with which ERM teams work in cooperation.
