PR expert Nidal Algaffari and political scientist Georgi Kiryakov discussed the turbulence in the country's governance in the program “Your Day” on NOVA NEWS. Both agreed that even without a regular government, things in the country are going well.
”A regular government is important in order to bear political responsibility, to push through reforms, to adopt policies in the state and to be accountable to parliament”, political scientist Georgi Kiryakov recalled the responsibilities of the executive branch.
Regarding the reforms in the state, Algaffari asked whether the rulers are aware of what changes they want to make exactly. “Suddenly it turns out that we want to change personalities rather than make a radical major reform”, said the PR expert. In response, Kiryakov said that they want change, but they do not say who the new personalities will be.
„For me, this is throwing dust in the eyes of the people - they repeat – "judicial reform" so that they can argue on other topics - whether they will form a government and how many ministries to take”, said Algaffari.
According to Kiryakov, this political action also led to a constitutional crisis. „In addition to the political crisis, which was deepening, such a change also led to a constitutional one”, said the political scientist. „This happened due to haste and misunderstanding of the need for a thorough change in the Constitution. "And a misunderstanding that some things need to be changed through the Great National Assembly," he said, explaining that the constitutional reform needs to be explained to the people.
Algaffari explained that the laws are not bad, but we often change them based on revenge.
