For the first time, a medical helicopter landed at the Razlog hospital to transport a tourist who fell from a terrace, the Razlog Municipality announced, quoted by BTA. The victim is a 37-year-old citizen of Israel, visiting Bansko. A team of professionals assisted in his transportation - Dr. Sasha Nikolova, resuscitator; Dr. Hristo Georgiev, surgeon, Dr. Monika Momchilova, surgeon; Dr. Elena Ruskova, radiologist, as well as laboratory technicians from the clinical laboratory at the Multidisciplinary Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Asen Velev“ - Razlog.
The teams of the Razlog hospital and the Emergency Department carried out all measures to provide first aid to the tourist. The hospital explained that the man was intubated and will be transported to a hospital in Plovdiv. The medical helicopter managed to arrive from Sofia in 26 minutes.
