GERB leader Boyko Borisov commented to journalists on the sidelines of the parliament on Kiril Petkov's words that there is a "New Beginning coalition" with the participation of GERB, "DPS-New Beginning", BSP and ITN.
"I wouldn't comment on Kiril Petkov, but here, thank you to APS for supporting the head of KEWR Plamen Mladenovski yesterday, so it happened with their votes too. What should I explain to Kiril Petkov? And that the head of the BNB is one of the best not only bankers, but also a respected person in all of Europe, in the European Central Bank. They see something in everything. They have no other expression. As far as I understand, PP-DB supported the eurozone and the Recovery Plan. They did not support anything for 4 years, now they do not support either, but for their audience they come out and support. With what do they support?", Borisov pointed out, quoted by Dariknews.bg.
Asked whether the DPS - NN will receive seats in the joint management council, he stated that as far as he knows, they do not. And regarding whether Peevski is in the ruling majority, he said: "Everyone supports us" and gave today's day in the National Assembly as an example: "Here, I just sprained my finger in the hall and voted for Radostin Vassilev to become deputy speaker of the parliament, does that mean that I support MECH? There are simply rules and commitments made in parliament that must be followed.
The GERB leader stated that Bulgaria is pursuing a balanced foreign policy. His comment was on the occasion of the vote of no confidence in the government.
"Rossen Zhelyazkov is currently in Paris. Our country is doing very well with the US, Europe, and our partners. I don't even see what the issue is with foreign policy. If it's a problem that we are pursuing a hard line towards the eurozone, we will resist it in the plenary hall," Borisov specified.
He also commented on the contract with "Botas", signed by Rumen Radev's caretaker government.
"The contract with "Botas", without passing a single cubic meter of gas, we paid 260 million at the beginning. To date, we have to pay another 218 million. Are you listening to me when I talk about corruption... While you pretended not to hear me, you know who is to blame, since November we have been paying 50 thousand more per day. Today we are not paying a million, but a million and 50 thousand. A similar contract, which is interesting how it was signed, to be terminated, the entire amount for its life must be paid - for nearly 3 billion.", the former prime minister was angry. They (PP-DB - ed. note) broke the PAVETS chair, and today we have an invoice for a million and 50 thousand. Tomorrow again, Saturday and Sunday - a million and 50 thousand.
