The accusations of the mayor of „Lyulin“ are a smokescreen and mudslinging against me. The goal is to smear people from „Continue the change“ (PP), without any evidence. There is no reason for me to be involved in this conversation. This was stated by the mayor of the „Western” district in Plovdiv Toni Stoycheva in „Since the day“ on BNT, quoted by novini.bg.
What Todorov says is categorically not true and this is verifiable in the public procurement system. The only company that won a public procurement contract last year was for 138,000 leva for the renovation of a children's kitchen building. It was even extended because there were no candidates. I don't know if the owner is close to anyone from the PP, she explained.
The mayor of “Zapaden“ said that there was a company that received a public procurement contract for renovation for 5 million leva and won it during the time of the previous mayor of Plovdiv.
Stoycheva specified that she had checked the company that won a public procurement contract in Plovdiv. It turned out that it had won renovation tenders in 17 more cases in different municipalities.
All public procurement contracts were prepared by the lawyer in the “Zapaden“ district. In two cases, there was help from external consultants, it became clear from her words. She added that she is a lawyer and did not need to be helped with public procurement.
According to Toni Stoycheva, her colleagues from “Mladost“ and “Lyulin“ are lying, as their goal is to throw mud and hit as many PP representatives in the local government as possible.
She defined Kiril Petkov's actions as taking responsibility and added that there is no need for more resignations in the party.
