A one-hour concert will close the 13th edition of the National Folklore Festival in Koprivshtitsa, which began on August 8. The final performance will be on the central stage. The participants in the festival are performing on six stages, BTA reports.
The Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova will deliver a speech at the closing of the event. Before that, performers from Gabrovo and Targovishte will perform on the second stage, groups from Smolyan on the fourth stage, representatives from Kyustendil and Kardzhali on the fifth stage, and groups from Sofia-city on the sixth stage.
This year's edition of the festival is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov.
The main organizers of the forum are the Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Koprivshtitsa, the Regional Administration of Sofia Region, the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with the Ethnographic Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IEFEM – BAS).
