The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (KEWR) begins inspections of water supply companies due to signals regarding the systematic violation of access to drinking water, as a result of the increasing problems with water shortages in the country, the regulator's press center reports.
The inspections will focus on the implementation of the levels of quality indicators - water losses in the water supply network, zoning of the water supply network, efficiency of construction of the water metering system, as well as the investments made for this purpose by the water supply companies that carry out their activities on the territory of the regional cities in the country.
After studying all the facts and circumstances, the working group will prepare a report on the results of the inspection.
