Vasil Terziev's demagogy has also reached the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW), but they cannot hide their inability. This was stated by Ivan Takov, chairman of the BSP - Sofia, of the socialist group in the Sofia Municipal Council and deputy chairman of the BSP. He commented on the accusation that the mayor made yesterday to the MRDPW for delayed funds under the municipal financing program. From the Ministry's response, it became clear that the reason for the delay was gaps in documentation on the part of the Sofia Municipality.
"Sofia is already suffering from the "Vasil Terziev" syndrome and urgent measures are needed for treatment. I cannot find any other logical explanation for the constant attempts of the mayor and his deputies to spread their personal responsibility for the problems in Sofia Municipality to whoever they want, commented Ivan Takov on this occasion. - Someone purposefully wanted to block the development of Sofia, because Terziev had not obeyed something. Some political games wanted to stop the development of the capital, but he did not accept Sofia being punished because of him. This is elementary manipulation in the style of "run away without being chased".
The Deputy Chairman of the BSP recalled the facts. "There is delayed money from the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. This is because Sofia Municipality has not provided the necessary set of documents required under the municipal financing program, he said. - Sofia Municipality has also made adjustments to its projects, which must be reflected in the documentation. The project for the renovation of "Opalchenska" Str. is in the process of being checked by various institutions due to irregularities. There is no way that funds will be paid out until the inspections are completed. These are the facts."
Ivan Takov reminded Mayor Terziev that the capital's municipal companies "Autotransport" and "Electrotransport" have been waiting for some delayed funds since November last year - 15 million leva to improve working conditions, which were voted on by the SOS. "They have not been paid out yet," he said. - When will they be paid out? And are these funds hostage to some political games on the part of the mayor? The truth is that Vasil Terziev and his deputies cannot cope with the work and are looking for ways to shift the responsibility for this to someone else. And yes - Sofia is definitely already suffering from the "Vasil Terziev" Syndrome.
