Four people were killed in the accident near the village of Konstantinovo in the Simeonovgrad region.
The information was confirmed by the Haskovo Hospital, where the victims of the serious accident were transported, reports BNT.
Shortly after 1:00 p.m., two cars collided head-on on a straight section. Five police teams, medics and a fire department were sent.
A 56-year-old man, his 14-year-old son and another 48-year-old man are in the hospital.
There are still no details about the accident, the causes are being clarified.
Due to the incident, the Simeonovgrad - Haskovo road is closed, and traffic is being diverted via Harmanli.
