The Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre (AGKK) reports high results and a stable workload, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW) reports. All this helped to overcome the accumulated files and delays, which were widely complained about by both citizens and businesses, the department adds.
Among the main indicators of the activity are: 27,522 cadastral projects for the first half of the year alone; 185,337 completed applications for amendments to the cadastral register of real estate (CRRI).
The applications submitted to the agency show a trend of a permanent increase in workload, with consistency in the timely implementation of services observed in recent months, which is a result of internal control, automation of processes and employee engagement. The employees in the regional offices of the agency are particularly busy, with there being cases of experts completing over 900 projects for amendments to the cadastral map and over 4,400 amendments to the CRRI within a few months.
The peak in services is a result of the dynamics of real estate transactions that pass through the AGKK. The new information system for cadastral and specialized data, implemented in December 2024, also made a significant contribution to the improved efficiency. All certification documents are now automatically generated in electronic format and are accessible through the applicant's profile.
By order of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov dated April 25, Eng. Georgi Georgiev was appointed as Executive Director of the Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre.
