The world-famous Italian manufacturer of boilers and other equipment – Ariston, invests EUR 75 million in new production capacity in Serbia. This is not the first large company to bypass Bulgaria.
The new plant will be located in Nis and will employ 300 people. Its expanded built-up area will be 30,000 sq.m. Plans are to open in December 2025.
This will be the first plant to be located in the “North” Industrial Zone. of Niš.
For the Italian company, this will be the third plant in Serbia, after already one in the city of Cvilainac, central Serbia. It opened its doors in 2019.
“The new plant will export products worth EUR 240 million annually,” said during the “ground breaking” ceremony. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The annual revenues of the Italian company amount to nearly EUR 3 billion.
