The Sofia City Court will consider on Tuesday the measure of detention of the director of the 138th school, Alexander Evtimov, accused of placing cameras in the toilets of the school.
On December 19, the court released the former director from custody on bail of 5 thousand leva. Two charges have been brought against Evtimov - for using unregulated devices and for distributing pornographic content.
He was detained in mid-December after it became clear that a report had been filed with the police about cameras placed in the toilets of the school. The police established not only the presence of 11 cameras, but also a direct connection to the room, computer and phone of Alexander Evtimov.
The devices were built into the smoke and motion detectors.
Meanwhile, Evtimov himself denied having installed the cameras and told the media that he found out about them on the day of his arrest.
